Pachystegia insignis - Marlborough Rock Daisy
Pachystegia insignis commonly known as Marlborough Rock Daisy is a wonderful hardy NZ native with beautiful large leathery leaves which are olive green in colour with furry undersides. Pretty flower heads appear above the foliage in November and then open to large white, daisy -like flowers from late November onwards.
Needs well drained soil and sunlight but we also have them flowering in semi-shade. Looks great mass planted.
Height to approx 1m and spread approx 60 - 70cm.
