Aquilegia vulgaris Blue

Granny Bonnets or Columbines as they are also known are an old time favourite. Aquilegia vulgaris Blue is a gorgeous deep blue flowering from late spring to early summer. This aquilegia likes a shady or semi-shady position.  Although short lived, usually up to five years, this one self seeds easily or seed can be collected and grown. 60cm high and 45cm wide.
